Hi Everyone! My name is Mandy Smidt. I'm the JK-3rd grade technology instructor for Dakota Prairie Elementary. I also coach girls basketball at Brookings High School. I've been working in the Brookings School District for over 15 years, working with JK-3rd for the last 10+ years. Working with students of this age has been fun and challenging! Watching their face light up when they've grasped a concept or conquer a skill is very rewarding for me :)
After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Dakota State University, I began my career in Computer Education as well as coaching. In 2005, I earned my Master's at DSU in Technology Education.
My husband, Jason, and I reside in Brookings with our family. We have 4 children.
