Hello! My name is Kathy Gross. I am starting my eighteenth year here at BHS, so chances are you already know who I am. This year I am teaching English IVA (It's been quite a while since I taught this!), English II, Language Arts II, and yearbook. Prior to coming to BHS, I taught for ten years in Baltic (English, Spanish, and yearbook as an extra duty). Right out of college, I taught for four years in Clark (English, Spanish, and oral interp. and JV volleyball as extra duties). I received my Bachelor of Arts (English and Spanish majors) and Master's (Curriculum Development) from SDSU in 1988 and 2012, respectively. My husband's name is Christopher, and our children are Allison, Christopher, Jr., and Dawson. I consider Brookings, SD, my home for life. Go, Bobcats! Go, Jacks! I stay active attending my children's activities and taking pictures for myself and the yearbook, when it's applicable.
