Hello, my name is Greg Klug and I am the science teacher for the 8th grade black team at Mickelson Middle School.  I graduated from SDSU with a degree in biology and worked for several years as a DNA lab manager in a seed testing lab.  I have been full time with the Brookings School District since 2016.

My wife Sara is an RN and we have been married since 1996.  We have two kids, Daniel and Katie who are both students in the district.

When I'm not teaching, you'll often find me playing with my kids, reading, cooking, fishing, spending time at "the cabin," or playing trombone.
